The Emirates Esports Federation is a part of the General Authority of Sports, which oversees and promotes sports activities across the UAE. The General Authority for Sports is the higher government authority empowered to look after the UAE sports sector as per the Decree-Law No. (7) of 2008 and its amendments by Federal Decree Law No. (15) of 2017 regarding the Authority and its affiliates.
